Portomaso Casino

The Portomaso is the biggest casino on the island with one big room completely dedicated to poker tournaments and 10 cash game tables from ½ to 5/10. The casino is located in St Julian's marina close to the fantastic "Paceville" where all the night clubs are! (www.paceville.com)

What kind of players will be there?

Malta is the top destination for Italian poker player, so don't be surprised to hear the dealers speaking Italian and English.
Scandinavian and Spanish players also often take part in poker events organized in Malta.

How do I qualify ?

Take part of the weekly DSO a la carte, a €10 rebuy tournament with guaranteed seats, every tuesday at 21h.
Packages tournament : Chilipoker has set up two amazing tournaments on Monday 12th and 19th September with €1150 packages, including :
- €550 buy in
- Accomodation in the Baystreet hotel from 6th to 10th september
- €335 for flight expenses
- €15 for handling fees

How do I get there?

The majority of airline companies fly to Malta including low cost airlines (www.ryanair.com, www.easyjet.com), however the main airline is Air Malta (www.airmalta.com).

Where Do I sleep ?

Malta has a lot of fantastic Villa waiting for poker players, so what about take a whole week with your friends ? You can find the best villas here, and find players interested on the Facebook event page.

Hotel
Baystreet Hotel is just in front of the casino, they have a huge choice of rooms with very low prices. rooms availables for 1, 2 or 3 people.

George Hotel Less than 3 minutes walking from the Portomaso Casino, also next to Paceville for the week end parties. The hotel has been recently refurnished and offers luxury services for cheap prices.

Cavalieri Hotel is a very luxuous hotel located in front of the sea just behind the casino, so all the guests can enjoy the fantastic view of the bay.

The Hilton Malta is located in the same building as the Portomaso Casino and offers rooms from €190 per night.
