Chilipoker DeepStack Open Paris: French player Idris Ambraisse wins the last DSO stage of 2010. Last weekend 351 players gathered at the prestigious Aviation Club de France on Champs- Elysées for the first Parisian stage of the Chilipoker DeepStack Open and after four days of intense poker it was French player Idris Ambraisse who successfully claimed the magnificent €38,730 first prize.

Despite the bitter cold, the snowy conditions and the fact that it was so close to Christmas, players from all poker backgrounds (regular ACF players, DSO players, online Chilipoker players and professionals such as Roger Hairabedian) came to Paris to try their hand at winning the final stage of the DSO 2010.
With a €500 Buy-In, 50,000 Starting Chips and One Hour Levels the tournament was played over four days (usually three days) and on Wednesday 8th (Day 1A) and Thursday 9th (Day 1B) players took their places at the tables for the start of the tournament. Finally by 9pm Friday evening the 50 players finishing in the money were known and it wasn’t until the following day at 8.30pm that the last nine players produced the final table.



Idris Ambraisse started the final table with the second biggest stack of chips and he successfully managed to put pressure on all of his opponents to start the final head’s up against runner-up Pierre Antona with a massive chip advantage. Finally, Pierre Antona’s As Jack had no chance against Idris’s pocket Queens.
It has certainly been an outstanding year for the Chilipoker DeepStack Open 2010 - seven successful stages across Europe and Marrakech all with an average of 400 players!
2011 promises to be just as exciting with new stages already confirmed and with the introduction of a General Leaderboard which will reward the best players of the season. The fantastic DSO VIP Promotions will also continue throughout the coming year!
